2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Reworked and redesigned for this year, the 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class compact series is easily the company’s smallest offering in North America.

The styling is sportier than before, and is powered by one of three engines available engines. The 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C230 Kompressor sports sedan and coupe come with a supercharged 1.8 liter V-4 engine that can produce 189 hp, the C240 sedans are equipped with a more powerful 2.6 liter V-6 engine, and the 3.2 liter V-6 engine in the C320 come with a 215 hp producing 3.2 liter V-6 engine.

Coupes and sedans in this series only come with rear-wheel drive, while other wagons and sedans can feature a four-wheel drive. The 2005 C-Class series also features a new dash, which is accentuated by a reworked steering wheel, new center console, redesigned seats, and a four-gauge cluster.

The series began selling from May 2004, and has its own fan following, especially in the Sports and Luxury segments.
